I went out Friday. The 1-2ft that the marine forecast advertised was actually around 4' so I couldn't get out as far as I wanted. I started at about the 03 line and trolled for about two hrs before deciding it was getting rougher and we better head in. We went 2 for 7 on big dipsys with eyeliminators (Big Wire Crawler Harness). Couldnt keep them hooked up for some reason, lost five at back of boat. Dispy set at #3 at 150 back and #1 at 110 had most of the action. Purple seemed to be the color.
Guys with bigger boats that could make it out to the 07 or 08 were having much better luck.

We went out on wednesday we got 4 tickets we lost 9 or 10 walleye from right behind the boat at the net, to tangles with other lines , drag's set to tight , waves in the morning ,you name it. Also we got about 20 sheep head and they can make a mess of your lines as well.
This week i have to respool a couple of rods but it's all part of the game we love so much.
