Went out this morning with a new boat and new equipment, still getting used to planar boards and downriggers but overall had a pretty good day. 4 big eyes all about 26 inches, all caught in the same spot pretty much too. No real pattern today, caught them on orange and black crawler harness, dolphin, superman, and wonderbread spoons. Downrigger caught one at 35, but we fished it anywhere from 30 to 60 down. others were caught on 30 jets between 80 and 100 back. going out again on friday and probably saturday, boat name "The Evidence", give us a shout and well let u know if were hittin em

Went of out Edgewater Friday night deeper than usual in 60-62 feet. Marked a ton of fish. Out from about 6pm to 9pm and grabbed about 4 eyes pretty fat. All off of stingers set at about 50 feet. Let me know where you guys are hitting them. We fish both worm harnesses as well as spoons. Also run 2 downriggers, and the rest dipsy's.

Hey Nightmagic,
We went out Sat morning and called for ya on the radio but didnt hear back. We were just out of Fairport...seems like things were slow for everyone. Of course we had nothing except some junk fish...Dont know what the deal is.Started in about 65fow and went from there.Reports were saying they were picking up in the 70-73 foot range although we had very few marks all day.

Went out Saturday afternoon and this morning. Saturday we didnt get out til about 12 and we trolled around in 55-58 feet with no luck. People were catchin them in the 65 foot range, but we didnt have time to get out there because my soon got sick. This morning went perch fishing and pulled in 86 in 37 feet of water off the gold coast. easily threw back 50-60 more, and had to sort through a lot of small ones. Found out yesterday that our radio wont transmit in case anoyne tried to contact us.
