Anyone steelhead fishing out from avon point? Coming up the 28th, and would like to give it a go. Last year we had to hit 60 ft. To find them, but it was th 10th of july.

running into them off of geneva straight out of harbor at 70' to 72' feet deep @ 50' down.

Thanks, I have a house rented already, or I would go to geneva. I will try 70 ft. Out of avon, and see what happens.

Howd you do on your trip out to 70 ft? id say that might be 15 or miles north?

Howd you do on your run North of Avon Point?

We didn't catch any. Limited on walleye with no problem, but only saw one steelhaed caught out of 4 boats fishing for them.
