Re: Drifting for walleye
I'm curious too! We were outta Marblehead last weekend and fished between the islands drifting gold harnesses both Saturday and Sunday. Fish were in 30-40 fow and most caught were hugging the bottom. Trollers around us were getting them on spoons. Geneva is A LOT closer for me compared to hauling to the west basin.....
How deep were you and your fish outta Lorain?

Re: Drifting for walleye
50-55 feet of water... They were anywhere from top to bottom. We got a 5 man limit in about 3 hours with a 20 inch average. We used mostly gold beads with a blue and chrome blade.
