Geneva 9/5
Our daughter got in from California yesterday for 5 days and wanted to fish Erie with me. The only weather window we had was today. Left Hartville at 5 am and was in the water by 7am. NOAA was calling for 1 to 3's... there were 4 footers out there with an occasional 5 footer... big rollers.
That kid of mine was trooper though, she could hardly stand up but she did pretty good. I only fished 2 rods with magnum dipsey divers and Jr Thundersticks. We got 10 nice fish.We had to shut it down at 11:30, we have plans for tonight, and it was going to be a long haul back from the double 0's, and the drive back home.
Despite the wind and waves, it was nice to fish with my girl.... it's been a few years since we got the chance. The lake looks pretty bad for the next 4 or 5 days. Stay safe. PaulLast edited by Tuna Chaser; 09-05-2024 at 05:09 PM. Reason: Typo

I'm 2" or less my hats off to you. Glad you and your daughter caught some fish. The middle of next week looks possibly alright. I might make the trip up. Thanks for the report.
