Geneva 9/29
We left Geneva State Park ramp at 7:00 am and ran 10 miles NE. Lines in the water by 7:45. We were in 73 FOW and the fish finder was lit up from 55' to 60'. We tried everything, bandits, Flickers, Stingers, Bad Mo spoons, worm harnesses. My thumb is killing me from undoing the snap swivels on all the color/lure changes.
They weren't buying what we were selling. The two of us managed 9 Walleye, 6 keepers. I will say the most productive bait was Bandits... maybe caught 2 on spoons. Rough day. I'm so over these NE winds!!!

Re: Geneva 9/29
Hopefully you and your fishing buddy we're the only two in the boat then six keepers wouldn't be a total loss. Curious how you get your bandits down 55 ft I'm sure you're using weights what size and how far back or do you have a different method.

We were using Tru Trip 50's ... anywhere from 125' to 140' back on big boards.

Re: Geneva 9/29
Thank you. I just bought big boards and big Jon rig. Haven't even used it yet. Probably next year. Hope to try out some deep water action too. I'll give the tru trips a try.
