Edgewater night troll
We hit the ramp at Edgewater right about 7pm setting out for some night trolling. We have never tried it before but the idea of dragging bandits and what not through a walleye feeding frenzy seemed enticing.
Well we marked endless pods of bait rot outside the break walls with plenty of good looking marks around the bait. Tried speeds from 1.1 a 2.4 with a variety of baits and depths… never even got a strike up to when we got off the water at 11.
Plenty of good marks on the screen but could not find any takers. Tried varying depth of water between lighthouse and ramp.
We saw about a dozen other boats within a mile or so all doing the same thing.
I don’t know if we were the only bozos not catching fish or not.
Good luck!
