Loraine 9/1 & 9/2 Weekend, Its starting to get harder
Left Hot water at 6:30 as usual. Nice sun rise!!
It was much harder bite this weekend than it has been. We managed to limit both days but it took us past noon to do it. As usual we went out north 12-14 miles trolling harness's with dipseys. Fishing in 50ft of water. Wind out of southwest 12 mph, waves 1-3. Marks are hit and miss and all over the column. Could not zero in on single depth. The walleyes have diffidently moved on from here compared to how it has been the last month or so. I suspect they have moved deeper and/or further east. I wished I had a Fish Hawk to know the temperature at depth. It was over 80 degrees on surface and the sun was out in full.
Next time I will go to 60' to see if they are there, if not its time to move east for the fall bite.
