Lorain 7-21-18
Went out of hot waters at 6:30am. Great cloud cover and temperature but the south wind was annoying. Went north to 50' and set a troll line due north. Fishing 3 man crew, never got all 6 lines in the water. Since the first line was set, we was reeling fish back in. Wallies were very aggressive this morning. Didn't see a need in making a turn, so by the time we limited in bout 2 hours, we were about 12 miles out. It was a long trip back in heading into the 4 footers with an occasional 5. Not for the weary in a 21' Ranger, but it was ok. We managed to avoid the rain, but got plenty wet with the waves. It was a great trip. Didn't experiment with different programs, just kept with the dipseys at 80' with crawler harnesses. They were very effective again this week.
