15 to 20 miles out of Geneva Dipseys and copper back stinger spoons or if you have wire the crank baits are working from what I hear on he radio 350' back. We ran the Dipseys 160' 170' & 180' Thursday, Friday, & Sunday and didn't do too bad. Had to pick through the bass though.

I fished Saturday, Sunday and Monday Eyetroller, Did 14 eyes and a steelhead Saturday, 18 eyes Sunday and 16 eyes Monday. I fished mainly between Ashtabula and Geneva. On Monday I went back to the same area that I had been fishing and noticed that it was loaded with junk fish. I also noticed that the temp at the ball was only about 4 degrees different from the top. Noticing this I decided to point the bow north and the fishing started to get better and less junk fish. I did have to do alot of sorting monday due to barely legal fish and also 7-8 inchers. Capt. Thanks for the report Capt Jeff.
What depth of water were you fishing ?
We fished out of Conneaut yesterday (Wednesday). Lake was nice so I ran out to the 42.11N -80.34W trolled north to the 42.15N-80.35W some marks scattered but no takers "0".
Wanted to see if we were missing anything out there. Guess not ?
Pulled the lines and moved in to the 42.06N-80.32W more consistent marks trolled south west picked up one 17" and a few of the 14-15" walleye.
Had a Steelhead hooked lost it because the snap swivel opened up.
Guess we should have went west ? Maybe this weekend we will give it a try out of Geneva.
Thanks to ALL for the reports.

We fished mostly 50 fow west of Walnut. We started about half way between the Ohio line and the marina. Altogether we had 5 Walleye, 2 Sheep Head and a few White bass on the line. As for the Walleye, 2 were short and released (about 13.5") 1 was lost at the boat and 2 boxed. The 2 we brought home were about 26".
I didn't see the Perch clouds on the sonar as much today, hooks weren't very plentiful either. Best setup for eye's was crawler harness on high dipsy set on 3setting out 100' to 125'.
Chatter on the radio, someone was north of marina in 76 fow and had boxed 9.24' Caravelle
