We only fish the Central Basin with the big boat being docked in Vermilion and were out briefly on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning 5/7.
Trolled East of Vermilion in front of the Condos, water was very stained, found good marks in 20-28ft of water and set up with Bandits 70, 60, 40 & 50 ft back. Pulled a nice 9lb fish pretty quickly on the 70ft back line [Fire Tiger Bandit]..
Nothing for an hour, so changed to running RR's on one side, Bandits on the other each side.

1 lure was set at 60ft back and the other at 70ft back, same both sides, except running Mono on the RR's and Braid on the Bandits.
[Part of our experiment with Mono v Braid this season]

We pulled another smaller Walleye and lost one at the boat, both were on the Bandits which were on the Braid.
We tried really slow at 1.0-1.2 mph with 2 - 60" bags out, but the pull backs all came at 1.7-1.8 mph.

Someone reckoned that the Walleye were "Neutral", in our case Very Neutral,..... lol

Probably would have done better in shallower water,
