Owners of Starcraft Islanders: Opinions wanted.
Hello, I'm Interested in owner reviews on the Starcraft Islander 221 OB. I'm new to the board and looking for the pro's and con's on this model. I'm looking to purchase a 2009 for Great lakes fishing and larger inland lakes. It seems to have enough cockpit space and big enough cuddy for the kids to get out of the weather if need be. How's the fit and finish? Is the quality there? Does it handle 2-3 foot chop, 3-4 footers well? Are trim tabs an option or is the bracket in the way? Look forward to all your opinions. Thanks.

My Grandfather had bought a brand new islander back in 1967 we kept it in the family until 2007- handeled anything the lake could throw at it. Super deep sides were really nice really no complaints. Being aluminum was very easy to tow also.
