Walleye Report 5/9
Yep, jig bite is still "on".
Jigged the reefs on 5/9 with 5 of my closest friends. Well, as close as you can get having just met this morning when boarding the headboat. My brother-in-law was actually with me too. I won't be more specific about location out of respect to Shore'nuf charters.
Anyways. 6 fishing on the boat, 18 walleye. All were BIG. Didn't measure them, but our six weighed over 40lbs. The smallest one boated was right around 20" with the rest being 24" and over if my calibrated eyes didn't fail me. Yellow hair jigs with yellow and purple hair did most of the damage by far today.
Great time had! Thanks to you guys and gals over there at Shore'nuf.21ft Red Mirrocraft Open Bow w/ gray Evinrude 120 OB. Nicknamed "Sunny Daze".
Channel 79, hit me up. Can be caught perch'n or drift'n around the islands when I make it out.

$40/person weekday $45/person weekends. Good deal if you bring your boat to the lake and the weather man is wrong.
