Anyone Going Fishing Today?

I'm going for perch later. I talked so some of my buddies yesterday who have been walleye fishing and they have not caught any. So perch fishing sounds better to me than walleye right now.

Cold front slowed the perch bite today.
I talked with one fellow captain and they did get some perch but not close to a limit. Reef areas and N of West Sister. Looked like a nice morning from the beach as I winterized my camp and said a few farewells till April. Sunday could be better, thats fishing.

We went out around 1 pm today and got our limit. We started north of west sister at a spot we were lucky at a few weeks ago but after 30 minutes of no action, we moved. Closer in a little until we saw several fish on our screen so we dropped anchor and picked up 60. Kept anything over 7 1/2. Husband caught a nice 11 1/2 in one. Great day in the lake. Probably last time out. Need to winterize camper and pull theboat Sunday.
