Western Basin Trolling!
I was wondering where the best trolling bite has been this week. I am coming up from Dayton this weekend. This will be my third trip up this year and we have limited easily on the jig bite around the reefs. I'm looking for the trolling bite now. I had a friend tell me he hammered them N.W of Kelley’s last weekend but I was hoping to stay closer to the reef area if possible. I have a trailer in the Oak Harbor area and typically put in around the Wild Wings area this time of year. Thanks in advance for any info.

Try A-B-C line
They have been getting them N. of B-C can.Set up at A and troll that way.Heard the bite has slowed alittle this week good luck.huntandfish,Yes I have caught them on the 4inch spoons and even some rainbow Salmon Spoons. Now is the time to use your bigger spoons as the forage is still big.Once the forage hatches it seems like I try to match the size.Just my 2 cents.
