2018 perch report
4 man limit of perch. 21 lbs at the cleaner's. Started at G can near the firing range. Had a steady action for a little while. Then the perch shut down. Noticed a lot more trollers near us. Decided to head up towards Green Island. Started to fish approximate 2 miles straight west of Green in 30 fow. Finished up in two hours with limit. Real light bite on the bottom. We were using spreaders with no bling and crappie rigs.

Thanks for the update
Tried East of Kelly's Saturday = not even a nibble. But the good part to this story is they were slamming the walleye south east of Kelley's - Picked six. Today went back and caught our 3 man limit. But, it's good to here the perch are finally going east. I harbor out of Battery Park Marina. Maybe I'll come your way next weekend...Thanks a Bunch

Glad to hear about limits.
As fishcatcher09 said if that was before they were cleaned, that his some pretty small fish for a 4 man limit.
We caught perch a month or month and a half ago, but haven't been able to get them going the last time we tried.
Thanks for sharing.
Drifter.

July 29, 2018 perch report : Four guys fishing caught 94 perch. 36 lbs of live weight at Port Clinton fish house. We fished from 7:30 am and pulled anchor at 2pm. We were 3/4 mile south east of G can in 22 fow. Right on bottom (light bite). We used spreaders with no bling and crappie rigs with no bling. We had 6 or.7 small ones that were released unharmed. Just a couple of farm animals. When the breeze switched to north east we were catching perch approximately a foot off the bottom. All in all it was a enjoyable day on the lake.

Buddy and I fished East of Kelly's in 40 fow yesterday, 45 jumbo perch, steady bite then major shutdown. Lowrance still locating schools of perch below, but a no-go. Perch mouths were overflowing with spiny fleas. Surprisingly caught several 4-5" walleye.
Very very light bite. Ultralite gear worked best to detect bite. Also holding rod for that "light tap" worked well. Few Farm animals along with white perch.
Many 10-11" perch. 21 lbs (live weight) at Port Clinton Fish house. Best quality of perch so far this year (all were fatties).
We also trolled South near dumping grounds with Bandits, 4 walleye (15-18"). Overall great day, bit hot and humid, very few boats fishing in this area.Lund 1875 Sport Tyee

Sunday 9/16/18 perch report. 3 man limit . 2.5 miles northwest of the Portage River. Approximate 1.5 miles south of G can. 35 lbs of live weight at Port Clinton fish house. Nice grade of fish today. Caught 3 12inch perch that were fat in size. Had 5 undersize perch thru back today. Caught a few 7 inch( approximate )walleye today. Put them back unharmed. Had one young fisherman (10 year old) onboard caught a 3 lb small mouth bass. He was excited when it jumped out of the water when he brought it to the surface. First time for him. We used the net to bring in the boat. The young fisherman had to take a snack break after we released it. Back to the perch fishing facts we were in 18 fow . Light bite on bottom . Used spreaders and crappie rigs with no bling.
