If you don't want to go to Huron east where the main walleye action is in late summer, stay in the Western Basin, then try in the clearer waters (less algae) north of Kelleys Island, west along the border area to NW of North Bass Island. Or start the same North of Kelleys and go east out to the long point shoal area. Some posts on here of some action also between South Bass and Kelleys Islands. I'd also think about evening fishing. It can be better this time of year.

We were out for 2 days and after we got our perch we trolled for walleye. West side of Gull buoy on a line toward monument. 1 oz inline best leads 27,30,32,44 1.2-1.4 sog. We made 1 pass each day got 3 one day 6 the next. We could've done some damage there I think if we did it all day.
