Waiting for the Ice

I cant wait. I have convinced some friends from my hometown of Falconer, NY to give up on the Bay of Q & come to the walleye capitol of the world. Told them mid february to keep the odds in our favor for ice & eyes filling the western basin. With any luck we will get ice like last year. Out PAST W Sister. It was too cool. Never been there before. Had to do it & we hammered them.

I'm hoping to get out on some hard water at least 6-8 times this year, that's 2-3 days at a time for about 3 different weeks between Feb-March.

I have 2 heated shanties (both quick flip models) that comfortably seat 2-3 guys. I will probably only be using 1 of them at any given time. If anyone is wanting to try ice fishing for the first time or any seasoned veterans that just want to go have some company on the ice give me a shout.

I also have an extra flasher and some extra rods. So if you have never been ice fishing, or if you just want to go let's get together.

Santa got me a new auger this year ,left it set out all day,started right up [check]
Drank a few beers [check]
Going to hit the Novi show this weekend and maybe pick up a new Otters sled

Cold weather is ushering in. Hope it stays for a while and we have good ice so you can get out there on the Lake and really test your equipment.
