    Default Fish Cleaners

If the weather holds I'll be coming next Thursday and staying through Monday. Are there any fish cleaners open in the Port Clinton area already? If not what cleaning facilities do you recommend, we will be staying in Port Clinton.

We tried Curlys once, they did a great job, but he charged by the dead weight and it was nearly $120 to get 34 walleye cleaned.

Try to call Cutcher and see if he is open yet. Here is his cell numbers (419) 250-2090 or (567) 395-9873. He is located on Luetz Rd off of Rt. 2 about 3/8ths of a mile behind the old Bait barn , now DreamCatcher Baits. He charges by the fish and his sign says $1.50 per walleye. That is a reasonable price compared to those who charge $.70 to $.90 per lb.

    Thanks for the numbers!

I've seen his sign during ice fishing but they were not open at that time.

$1.50 a fish is very reasonable! Don't mind cleaning myself just no where to go with the carcasses staying in a hotel.

Port Clinton Fish Co. is usually open. They are located on Madison St. in downtown PC...across from the Fisherman's Wharf bait shop.

If you launch out of Wild Wings they have a cleaning station, not far from the reef area's. Not sure if the cleaning lady behind wild wings is open yet or not. Might call st clair bait and ask him, he's across the drive from the cleaners.
