    Default Lots of Walleye yesterday

Hello All, First post but I have been listening awhile. Thanks for all the help to the more informed.

Went scouting yesterday morning and they were bringing them in to the cleaners at 11:00 a.m. at Wild Wings so I went to Catawba State Park ramp and lots of eyes there too. One guys said "everybodys catching them out there!" "We all got our limit"

Don't know how accurate my info is but most mentioned Deep Huskys at 80' to 110'. Another mentioned slower was better, .6- 1.2.

Heading to Catawba in a few minutes, Best of Luck to all!!! Looks to be a very calm day out there.

Thanks Shots! Glad to be back in the water after a few years of paying for kids college.

Water temp was 38 degrees just West of Catawba, went down to 37.6 when we got close to green island. Only two eyes in the boat, they were hogs, lost 3, but I am a rookie. Most I talked to were getting there limit. We only had luck with Husky Jerks at about 80'. Most talking on the radio were using Husky also.

We did not get in the water until 9 am and from the radio chatter it slowed down around 11 am. The guys getting a limit started around 7:30.

Take it for what it is worth, I appreciate all the feedback here and hope this helps someone else.

I heading back tomorrow if the WIND does not come with the rain. Good Luck to All!
