Walleye are back! Time to pull the boat...
When I was leaving Sunday, 3 different reports came in saying that because of the Wind direction guys where close to shore... Really close. Trolling in front of Lakeside a mile out or less, catching decent numbers of walleye... Yes, those long skinny fish that have teeth.
We didn't go out, we where just visiting and hanging out at the cottage.
A lot of throwbacks and decent number of 15-17" fish, nothing huge that I heard about, but several guys chatting on the radio where doing okay trolling in front of Lakeside.
It's nice to know that they are coming back, but I've gotta pull the boat for the year.
I didn't make it out much and didn't even go up the last 7 weeks.
So, ya'll get your boats out of the water now so it will freeze! Ice man cometh!!!

BK Missed you at Channel passed weekend. Was up and brought boat home. Did some perching. Been fishing Bula with the Eyehunter boys. All depressed as I winterized the boat yesterday. See you next spring or before.
