    Default Full Moon, Sep. 27

Full "Blood Moon", "Harvest Moon", and an Eclipse starts about 9 PM, Sep. 27th, EST and ends about 12:25 AM, on the 28th.
They say the moon will be closest to Earth at that time and I wonder if this might cause the Perch or Eye's to change their feeding habits either during the day leading up to darkness and then into the next morning? While fishing in Florida waters, some Captains maintain that the stronger pull of the full moon really turns the fish on both day and night for some species. (Is that due to the 'pull' or is it due to the brighter light? Or both?). I also wonder how the Emerald Shiner netting will be during the eclipse? Let's hope that the darkness will yield a massive catch.

The full moon makes it harder to catch minnows for the guys that catch them at night. The reason is the brightness of full moon competes with the light that attracts the minnows. The full moon also makes catching walleye more difficult to catch.
