I was thinking the same thing how did all these nice trolling rigs wind up in the drink.

My dad lost an ugly stick this year. He was using it as a bottom bouncer when a fish hit and pulled it straight out of the rod holder. We both looked at like it.was going to float. And off it went. He locks the holders now though.
