Couldn't find the Perch today - 8-15

We fished from 1pm till 7pm. Tried jus South of the pack at B can and picked up a few. Moved to the North with no luck. Moved to Niagara Reef and then Crib reef, nothing but sheepshead, a catfish and a nice Largemouth. Algae was pea soup all over. Ended with 6 perch.

Caught 18 fair size just North of F can until algae moved in then they shut down was by myself H can all under 4 inches threw all them back called it a day

Yep Largemouth, picked up near Niagara Reef. Surprised us as well

Don't know if you can trailer your boat but if you can the perch are on fire at Bula.We caught a 2 man limit by 930am.Big fish was a fat 13 incher and we had many 11-12 inch fish.Clean clear water and you only have to go a couple of miles offshore.Once you try it you will give up the Western Basin

I do trailer my boat. Where exactly is Bula? What ramp facilities are there?

Google Lakeshore Park Ashtabula Ohio.Get there early bcause the parking lot fills up fast and watch your depth because the marina is pretty shallow

Bait shop is next to the launching ramps.Don't get me wrong.I troll in front of Davis Bessie April and May but move to the Central Basin when the green slime moves in.
