Perch Today

Son and I caught 48 perch today. Was slow. Fished from 7:30 to 1. Little north of B and little north of A. Average size. Fish cleaners at Wild Wings not cleaning perch yet.

Cutchers will, just a little back east and go south by the bait barn.

Fishin2,, We went there and really liked what he did. Think we will go there from now on.

I will 2nd Curcher's. Very good cleaning, highly experienced as he used to cut for Bomba's. I think he was one of the first to go to $1.00 per fish for Walleyes and he charges $1.25 a lb for perch/white perch and white bass.

I save the white bass and white perch for some of my neighbors who are Senior Citizens as they are to old to go on the lake any more. I even give them some of our yellows and walleyes from time to time as well as inviting them to at least 2 fish frys during the summer months. It sure is a blessing watching them chow down on freshly fried fish and tipping a cold beer, soda or otherwise having a good time.

Cutcher's is located on Leutz RD!

From Rt. 2 turn at the North West side of DreamCatchers Bait Store property formally the Bait Barn, go South to the first housetrailer actually a camper on the left side at the first curve. There is a sign in his yard right beside his drive, there is also one on the corner at Rt. 2. It would be hard to miss. Cleaning shop is located in the garage style building behind the trailer. It is about 1/2 to 3/4 mile from Rt. 2.

Thanks for the info, that's les than 5 minutes from the new condo! Any idea of they charge extra for cheeks and throats or will it still be $1 per walleye?

I really can't answer that question! Better if you asked him when you take some fish in to him for cleaning unless there are members who have had that done there before who would post an answer for you.
