Left Mazurik around 8:45 and the ENE wind was already blowing pretty good. Decided to fish close to Kelleys to duck out of the wind. Trolled along the west and south sides.

Walleye fishing was slow. (White bass and sheephead were just fine!) Managed to pick up 2 nice eater walleye (18",20"). Also managed to catch 3 spikes and 2 14" walleye. It was nice to see the young fish in the population. Not sure if that means I was too high or too low, too shallow, etc.?

Trolling spoons behind Jet 30's. Pulled 1 walleye off bottom and the other at 40 back. Speed varied, depending on waves pushing the boat, but ranged 2.0-2.5 mph.

By the time we came in, the waves were really rolling. Glad I didn't have to drive into the wind!
