Obviously not if there were that many fish being caught. There were more and more boats to the north of where I was. I was probly at the southwest end of the boat pack. The water wasn't that great where I was but seemed fishable. I think my biggest problem friday morning was just sittin still, no drift. Its quite a bit trickier casting in 28 fow than in 14-18 fow also so the not so clear water was also against me. There were some mayflies at the gas stations in point place in the morning also. Not looking good for the far west end for a while. Especially with more wind all weekend. Good luck to all!

Were you getting most of the fish up high, or towards the bottom?

No propaganda in this thread...report was spot on! Limited out, and even culled a couple smaller fish, in 2.5hrs in the same area with a 16ft aluminum boat trolling cranks. Only if my Rott was legal to claim a limit I woulda stayed longer...that bite was furious!!!!!!

As dave said the fish was on fire. We worked together on both days and was done with limits quick. Sunday was the same. I didnt get them as fast as dave on sunday but did manage to get 1 over 30 inches as well as around 30 shorts on sunday.

The number of "shorts" caught in that area the end of last week is a good sign for things to come. We caught shorts ranging from 4 inches to 15 inches all hitting spoons pulled behind Trutrip 40's. No propaganda, the area has been on fire...
