Thursday afternoon

Heading out of Catawba area tomorrow afternoon trolling for walleye with the wife and kids. From today's modis image looks like we'll be starting out west of rattle. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears, not sure what the wind and rain did to the fish. I'll be on channel 79 if anyone wants to work together, shout out for Rob.

We ended up with 6 in about 3 hours. Nice mix of 22" to 26" fish, biggest was 29". Ran up to the Canada line NE of the kidney, good marks and surprisingly clean water. Could only get them on a SW troll. Most fish came on T.T. 40's 35 back, got the big one on a dipsey 45 back on a 3 setting. 1.8-2.0 mph. Should have stayed with the SW Troll, circled back a couple times over our marks but couldn't get them going NE, just waisted time. I'm happy with 6 considering I had a 4 and 5 year old on board as well as my wife, so setting lines, steering the boat, netting fish and occupying them was a little hectic, it was a great time with the family!
