Started out N.E. Of Kelly's between the green cans at 10:00 and only pulled 1 walleye in a little over an hour. Moved to south of Kelly's and started pulling more fish as we headed west. Decided to run with the wind and trolled all the way to within a mile of Perry's Monument and pulled 4 fish per hour as we made our way across. The best bites were just west of the ferry line to Kelleys and probably mid way from Kelly's to South Bass. By the time we made it across we had 14 of our 18 fish and the wind changed slightly and was coming more from the North so we decided to go with the wind again and head back toward our launch at Catawba hoping to pick up our last 4 fish as we headed in. We ended up taking 2 more in the South passage before we were out of the fish and never caught our last 2 before we reached the Catawba pier. Finished up with 16 fish on a 5 hour troll. The program that worked was TT40's at 2.0 to 2.2 back 35 off inline boards with jaeger bomb and bite me spoons.

We could have easily caught those last 2 fish if we circled back to the hot bite areas we passed through but opted for the nice easy troll rather than turning back.

Good luck this weekend to all you are fortunate enough to make it out!
