Starve to Kelly's 5/16

Fished with the wife today ran a line between Starve Island and NW corner of Kelly's. Steady pick of nice eaters. Inline 2oz 25-30 back and #2 Tadpole 25-28 back 1.5-1.8 sog antifreeze and pink backs worked the best. Took us 6 hours to get our 2 tickets. Lot of boat traffic. Had a great time with the wife.

Good job! It was fun out there today. I was supposed to have the day off, due to a reschedule, but ended up with a 4 hour trip with two men, one of whom I had out last year, and they ended the trip with 17 walleye to show for it.
1oz 30-35 back was best for us. Copper, Antifreeze, and gold worked. I don't really think it mattered today....speed was 1.3-1.5mph.

Juls, After getting out there I realized I had left my worm harnesses bag at home....wanting to run worms, the only thing I had was some gold hammered casting weapons with 3/4 oz weights. Ran them 45 back at 1.5 and caught 9 in 2 passes. We then ran halfway back to the ramp to 34.7n/45.4w ran the weapons 25 back and pulled our last 3 in 15 minutes. Mel
