Most colors will work, use Double Willows, Single Colorado, and Hatchet Blades and match the beads to the blades and you'll catch fish.

Thanks for all the info guys... We only have a couple of Erie walleye trips under our belt and I just want to be prepared... We are coming up next week and fishing for 5 days. We came up last year over memorial day weekend and ran scorpion spoons behind tru trip 40's and did really well. Thanks again!

Gold blades with red beads. I use no. 3 hammered gold Colorado blades and have been catching fish on them for years. The new colors work too but there is ALWAYS at least one of the bread and butter in the water on our boat.
