That looks like a spoon rather than a typical blade. Not sure I've ever seen that exact pattern anywhere. Was that an old spoon that someone had in a tackle box and just stuck it on a clevis?

Yep, it is a spoon hooked up as a blade.
The real question is does it work
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.

They are called worm burners. Most tackle shops carry them near the lake. Here is one I found.

Looks like a spoon used as a blade, wormburners have the spoon inline. I use wormburners often, they have a wobble action . Does this blade spin?

doesn't really look like a worm burner but rather a spoon harness of some sorts. you can check out spoons and worm burners at galeforcetackle.com.

This is in fact the question that I'd love to know the answer to. I'm going to assume that since he's asking where he can buy more of them that the answer is going to be "Yes!".

Thanks for the replies. I don't know if hey work but this guys had a nice setup and 8 rods rigged with them. This one was upside down and the others the spoon was flipped. All had gold backs. I assume they worked because of the entire setup. Seemed like you could troll slow or faster like a willow blade?
