Michigan waters

Does anyone fish the Michigan side of Erie? Heading out Saturday and was hoping to get an idea of where to start. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes. There are some folks getting some quality fish and some folks getting nice fish. It's going to be pretty tight lipped for reports from folks as to what is going on as there are still some tourney's yet to happen. But the walleye are out there, run DDHJ's, RR 1.2 to 1.6.

went out Saturday. Only caught 5 but you guys were spot on with your info. Caught 3 in Breast Bay in 14 FOW on the Husky Jerks and then 2 bigger ones in 19-20FOW 100ft out. One of these was a 29" 8 lb and the other was 30".

Glad you were able to get into a few, and nice ones. Just a tip for out there. When you get a couple fish right in one spot, go back thru and try again. If nothing try again with a completely different lure. A lot of times you will get a couple more. Then switch back to the original baits. This can really make a difference in BB. Or till to many boats move in on you and shut it down cause they see your onto something.
