Well we went to check on the boat and a had an opening between storms and went out to check out the lake, soild mud fish are still in close,but to muddy, so we move out to k can and locast reef, still mud 6 to 10 inch visible we only fished and hour
between heavy rain shower, total white out fog, we had a little sun shine then next storm was blowing in so we end the day, we did managed to get two huge females a 26 incher that was taken on a black and sparkle 3/4 oz. hair jig, and a huge 29 incher taken on a carolina rig 1/2 oz wieght with 4 foot leader and a 3 inch green sparkle tail, so far this season we have only caught one male all rest have been females, with most released to live another day. will be back out sat and sunday. that's weird on catching the females all these years of jig fishing ive only caught a handful of females mostly jacks ive seen other pics with females in the box must be something different happening this year looks like a lot of 2003 females in the mix you got any walk on trips. cant get out channel due to dredging where you docking this season

[QUOTE rockfish just get a hold of mike we go out for a few hours in the afternoon fun fishing proably every day next week, or if a group wants to go we offer walk on also, were dock at wild wings till may, as for the females I'VE seen very few small males mostly big fish, and the graph is full of huge marks, on the river its been mostly males and small ones at that, funny year, I did notice yesterday a few boats were jigging twister tails, be out sat and sunday.
