Reel sport drop boat in tonight and ran a shake down trip, started at 4.00 pm 1/4 mile out off wild wings channel to the east, started 300 yards off shore in 7 feet of water, the screen was loaded with fish, work our way out to ten foot of water same thing, roughly fifty boats working this area with nets flying with some huge walleyes, we fished two hours end up with 6 walleyes from 3 to 7.5 lbs, lake was calm with six inch waves water was clear, best results was to cast out and jig back in, 3/4 jigs no minnows, purple with sparkles, and purple and green was lures of choice, before we launched the boat we check the fish cleaning station and ramp, saw maney limits of big fish from both jiggers and the trollers, it was a great way to start the season.
