May out of catawba

I would like to take my 21' sea ray open bow out in May off Catawba for walleyes. I'm not to crazy about going out very far with the bowrider (I would have my bow cover on, as if that mattered). Anyone have any suggestions on spots. I have been on the lake a dozen or so times in the past 10 years (never with this boat).

I fish with my 20 ft boat from may until oct... no problems. Naturally you hav to look at the wnd and weather. You can always fish around the islands.

I have been out 20 miles with my open bow 21 ft and never had a problem. Just use common sense and watch the weather and yes keep your bow covered especially when traveling.
