Crane Creek Area

I've seen a few posts regarding fish turning on 4-4.5 miles out from crane creek. Last year we "launched" out of Magee Marsh. I've seen mention of Wards Canal. I've tried to look on googlemaps at exact area they speak of. would this be the waterway NW Metzger Marsh area? sorry for the ignorance. I've only gone one time and not too familiar with that area and plan on going next weekend. Just want to clear up my options.

They are one and the same. Crane and Magee that is. Enter just west of Turtle Creek Bridge on Rt. 2.

If memory serves me right Ward's Canal runs out of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club off Rt. 2. There is a public boat ramp and parking also.

wards canal is the metzgers marsh area and cooley canal yacht club channel running off rt 2 by the bono curve they have ramps and parking at the state ramp and out by the pier just before the parking lot theres a ramp for 4 whellers and sleds

Thanks Guys. Any news on reports out of those areas? I'm planning on heading out sat and sun.
