bait stores in port Clinton?

Looking to head out of camp Perry Saturday for first trip out of there this year any info on ice conditions and safety would be appreciated maybe a point in the right direction for some eyes if someone is willing. staying in port Clinton and need to find a bait store for minnows near by can any one help with that.

Not sure about bait store out towards Perry but Herbs drive thru on Catawba,and Rickards bait store at intersection of 53N and 163 have plenty of bait and tackle. Haven't been on lake enough this year to give report on eyes but I hear their catching some off Perry. Numbers and coordinates I'm not sure of. As for ice conditions I'd just suggest stay away from airboat path and stick to the atv trail headed out. I hear of some spots marked off close to shore with paint so be vigilant. Enjoy Lake Erie and be safe out there.

AnJ Opens at 6 am and they are about 3 miles west of camp perry entrance.

I know where to get out on ice from cataba state park but coming up sat. and wanting to go out camp perry but dont know where to go out from. would appreciate direction to get on ice from there. THANKS

Only been there twice and all I know is it off hwy 2. Through Some kind of military camp I think. Sorry I can't help out better.I'm heading out Saturday early morning

There is a set of train tracks that run across rt.2. The entrance is right at the set of tracks. Go all the way to the back and then make a right and you will see the trucks and trailers from other fisherman. Be safe and good luck
