Most of us "trollers" in here have been right where you are. I for one thought that I would never troll. It wasn't really fishing... etc... I think most all of us fished for decades on Lake Erie before reluctantly "trying" to troll.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you want. Right now during the Winter we are all too willing to talk about anything regarding LE Walleye and any conversation is a good one while we are waiting for ice!

Welcome to the site. The more people that communicate and try to help, the more fish that we all can put in our nets. Lots of good info usually given here. Just remember that the info given is a guide to your success. Locations and methods, ( speed and amount of line out ) , are different from boat to boat. Give a shout when you go by, my boat is easy to spot. lol
