Well I thought I would try perch fishing today even though a cold front came in and the winds were picking up, normally out by sputnik but today tried in front of stoney point 25 feet of water, found a couple of small pods and started fishing. Perch rigs with either half or whole minnows red hooks with red beads worked best and again a lot of slack once you felt the bite wait, wait, wait, wait, then feel the bite set the hook still barely catching them most just barely in the lip, was short on time so myself and my partner kept 75 perch that weighed 20 lbs at the cleaners which I am thankful that god allows me to catch and keep fish so its all good!!!

the waves were 1 to 2 feet kinda chilly and still very surprised to be catching those perch after a cold front blew in.

Hope this helps someone
