Perch fishin 9/27

fished about 1/2 mile east of the green bouy north of Catawba today, started at around 9:30, fished for about and hour and caught 6 keepers for 3 guys, a lot too small, plus white bas and a sheep head. took a long ride out to west of rattlesnake where the pack was, fished for hour or so it was dead. Moved back to original spot and fished for half hour or so when one of our party was feeling sick, so we went back to about a mile NW of Catawba state park where there were boats spread out and a couple of the head boats. fished about half hour and the sick party feeling worse so we went in. in that spot not much action except a boat adjacent to us caught about 6, while we caught none.

was rougher out there today than it was supposed to be.

Hope your luck was better than ours today - still it was nice to be out on the water with by boys for the day.

Had a chance to get to the lake Friday to get the motor home checked out and work on the boat we fished a little also small pack of boats around the intake heard there were some perch being caught around little turtle but boat had some issues and shut down , so we fished where we were caught a few keeper perch and an assortment of other species but all in all a nice day on the lake. Question is there a forum on our site that lists boat problems and answers that work!
