Fished Saturday midmorning/afternoon North of B-Can, which is north of Davis Bessy. Limited out in a few hours all nice size, little to no junk fish. Pick up your bait at Happy Hooker and then head down the road to the boat ramp, there are several around, for $5.

Did the same thing Friday afternoon. Limited in little time in nice perch near B-Can.

Where is the best perching going on right now? I am bringing a couple of newbies and want to get them hooked on fishing this Saturday. I normally go out of Catawba but can easily trailer to the nearest hotspot. Who knows maybe we can get lucky and catch some eyes too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We wer out last saturday started just north of green, caught about 8 keepers and threw back 20. Then moved to the boat pack just west of rattlesnake, caught a bunch of 4-6 inchers. Kept 24 between the 2 of us in 4 hours. Saw alot of head boats but there wasnt much size to the fish.
