did anyone do any good perching anywhere today in the western basin.......should I go to taco bell? should I go towards middle Island? I have ideas but not sure what my best option would be...thanks for sharing if you can.

Got my limit in michigan water ne of turtle island 15 fow. Got a couple football size perch but mostly 8-9 in. Had to sort through about 150 but it was fast action, could hardly keep both poles baited and I only used a single no bling hook on one rig with a swivel and sinker on bottom. Didnt really have much junk , few sheeps, few white perch, few white bass, and even a couple cats. Minnows dead or alive didn't matter, was even hooking them 2 or three times. Headin out in the a.m. look for a ranger bass boat that would be me. Good luck

Oh yeah I tried about five other spots with not much luck and stopped there about 10 30 with about 10 fish and was done at 12 45. I had to be to work second shift or else I could have been much pickier on what I kept. My clicker said 50 but when I counted at dock I only had 47.

Wouldn't. NE of Turtle put you in Ohio waters?

Turtle island isnbasically on the border so no, north of turtle would be michigan. For those who find it necessary to nit pick people's posts, I was about a mile north of the island and a 1/2 mile east I guess I should have looked at my numbers rather than give a general area. There are perch all around turtle, you just have to fish through them. My apologies for not being exact on my location. Maybe I need to have my gps calibrated. Lol
