Waited for the wind to die down some today and so we did not make it out to the War Buoy (a few miles North of B Can) until just after Noon today. Had white caps rolling when we dropped anchor and it was a little bouncy but not too bad. We stayed until 5:00 and we boated about 9 keepers an hour. Ended up with 45 nice perch with a couple big and beefy 12 inch Jumbos. We caught 6-7 small perch throwbacks for every keeper (8 inch +). So lots of catching just not much keeping. Only one sheep and one white perch, all the rest were yellows. Today they wanted the minnows in the mud and a slow lift hooked them. Also, cut minnows did not catch many perch of any size, they wanted whole minnows. The wind died down around 2:00 and it was a great ride back in. Another great day on the lake.
