B can perch

Fished about 1/2 mile north of B can Friday for the first time trying for perch. After making a couple short moves, found some good marks and started picking some up. 1/2 minnows seemed to only be catching smalls and trash. Ended up with 14 8"+ perch after some trial and error on getting them to bite. Found that keeping the sinker on the bottom and just keeping a slight bit of slack in the line was getting the bites.

Fished Sunday for a couple hours with the wife and 3 year old son abot a mile north of B can. Probably 50 boats out there and plenty of small perch. Made a bout 4 moves and found some keepers. Caught them both in the mud and afoot or two off the bottom. Seemed like the white perch were with the smalls but once we found the keepers the white perch weren't there.
