War Buoy Perch

Got out to the War Buoy Saturday about 9 a.m. and the two of us ended up with 59 nice 8 inch + perch by 1:45. No up and down but we didn't catch one junk fish which is always refreshing. Had to sort through quite a few smaller perch. Cut minnows did the best for us that day and we caught them both laying the bait in the mud and suspended up to a foot or so above the lake bottom in equal numbers. Great Day on the Lake.

We fished Sunday about 1-1/2 miles north of b can for a 6 man limit, 5 hrs time, threw back 125 fish that were next years fodder. a few whities, not too bad . went thru 10 doz minnows, cut ones did best.
