Lots of Grass

Friday, we set up at the southeast corner of Kelly's, and got into a ton of grass, so we pulled the boards and headed to Green, where the water appeared to look cleaner....set up a troll from Green to Rattle, and was back into the grass@! Could not keep a line in the water for more than 5 minutes......I should have headed to the deeper water on the boarder, North of Kelly's, as I head they were catching fish there....between Middle and the shoals.

I went out west of Port clinton last Saturday and caught 6 small eyes, trolling in 30 feet of water , hitting at 25 feet , all in about 2 hours of trolling , but we also ran into alot of grass. We had a workout bringing the poles in every 5 minutes also. On Sunday we caught 3 eyes , one throwback, one at 23 inches and the other at 19 inches. This was in the same area as Saturday, trolling straight west of Port Clinton. This shows were there is small ones , there are big ones! But also a heck of alot of Grass!! That was te sucky thing about it!!
