Perch west end

Fished a stones throw away from the south shore of turtle island this morning. Got 23 in less than 3 hours. 12-13 fow. Most of them were very nice perch, some even close to to passing as jumbos. Had quite a few throwbacks but at least they were yellow. Just a single hook and sinker on snap swivel. Heard that trick on this forum, sweet and simple but works well. Had a hard time keeping 2 poles in action. 8lbs w/ 23 nice fish. Fish on

Nice buddies been doing ok a little closer to the outer light than that! Last trip they got 90 in a reasonable amount of time.

Got 72 nice ones Friday 2nd set of buoys past Harbor Light east side of ditch. Dnr cked us and said several other boats in that area were doing the same.

We had a good day Sunday in the same area. Some nice size perch.

37 perch...cleaned about 6 pounds.......reason why we did not get two tickets....is my uncle, my partner, had a huge minnow loss......ha...I caught 29 and he caught 8...he was fishing off bottom and they were killing him....he did not lift it a turn and a half...oh well.......eventually we cut minnows in half to get the fish we did..and I forgot my frozen minnows..so that sucked....but nice day
