Perch starting up
Got a limit of perch Friday night just north of green. Saturday morning was not quite as good. Friend got two tickets towards Rattlesnake and my group got only 1.5 of 3. Decent size. Not too many junk fish. Other boat did land a 30" walleye on a perch rig.

sunday perch
the best was no bling out fished others 3-1 it was sunday morning going out this week will report when done when we dropped our fish off at butch and dennys [27 pounds] there was not a lot of big numbers being drooped off anchor broke free and we lost them so we moved to a perch number on gps nothing went back to first spot and bam doubles . hope fully they stay there this has been a great spot for years usually 2nd week of july for about 3-4 weeks and then there gone looks like a little early this year they are nice fish we were only boat in area don't have numbers next trip if there still there ill post gps numbers. also seen walleye being netted had a couple pro line boats one drifting one trolling in line boards would run up to our area and reset there lines only going with waves both were netting fish, wards canal is metzgers marsh between cooly canal and crane creek

I plan on fishing that area too this week and will post the results. I'm going to try there or the Toledo intake area. Pulling out the trolling gear and switching tothem tasty perch for awhile. I plan on Thursday for sure if the weather is ok and Saturday and Sunday weather permitting.
