Sunday the 1st
Great day on the water for the first trolling trip of the summer. Got a late start, started fishing at around 9:30 and had our 4 man limit by 2:30. Only a few small ones that we should have thrown back given how big we were catching but that's first trip jitters I guess. Biggest fish was just shy of 7 lbs. Can't thank Skipper9 enough for showing us how to troll for this awesome fish. Once you get set up that way it seems like a challenge to not put fish in the boat.
Struggled to find perch the second part of the day and just gave up on it. Any tips on where they are at right now?

Niagara had been one of the hotspots for several of my perch fishing buddys the last couple of weeks. You will have days like that and no matter where you move to the bite will not be good so don't give up on that spot. They probably turned on after you had given up as Niagara is a really good area to perch fish.
